COACHING
Find your motivational style.
Get unstuck. Change your habits. Create and live with purpose.
I’m Kirk Sheppard—writer, therapist, and lifelong storyteller who cut his teeth in wrestling rings, theatres, and on the page. If you bring the passion, I’ll help you take action with step‑by‑step planning and collaborative accountability.

Who is coaching for?
Writers ready to start (or finally finish) a book, tighten a blog cadence, or prep for NaNoWriMo.
Creative folks (podcasters, online creators, other artists) who want to launch a show, find their on‑mic voice, or build consistent creative habits.
Anyone aiming for sustainable behavioral change—less sabotage, more follow‑through.
How we’ll work
Clarify the outcome (what “done” looks like)
Break it down into tiny, doable actions
Accountability + real talk
Awareness + Practice: notice the patterns, then rehearse the change until it sticks
Tool‑agnostic: we’ll pick the best workflow for you and customize change so it lasts.

What Coaching is Not
This is coaching—practical, forward‑focused, and not a clinical service. Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or replace mental health care. If you’re seeking psychotherapy and are located in the state of Ohio, please visit my counseling site or contact a licensed provider in your area.
If during our coaching relationship, we determine therapy is more appropriate, I’ll help you find next steps.
What Coaching Includes
A concrete, measurable plan
Clear next actions after every session
Honest, kind accountability (no shame)
Light templates and resources when helpful
